Up

Stella took me to Up in Highland Village for my birthday dinner. Up is quite fancy. There's valet right out front. You take an elevator to get to the restaurant. The restaurant is decorated in a pristine white, white table cloth and white napkins. People get dressed up for dinner. Stella and I sat at the bar.

Right above the bar was a disco ball

Crispy Brussel Sprouts and Artichoke Hearts With house made remoulade. Yumm, crunchy texture with a creamy sauce is heaven.

Beef Bolognese Pappardelle house-ground beef in imported San Marzano tomato sauce, slow-cooked for three hours. This dish was absolutely tasty. The pasta was a perfect tenderness. The tomato sauce was fresh and so tasty!

Assorted Macarons: Lemon, Chocolate, Vanilla, and Strawberry. The texture was a bit firm for a macaron but the flavor was on point. Lemon and Strawberry were my favorite. The chocolate one tasted like a brownie. The vanilla was filled with caramel. All so delicious!

Me and Stella. Thank you, Stella!!! :)
